Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, And give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest your weary ones. Bless your dying ones. PRAYER POINTs

Pray for the country of Zimbabwe. Pray for justice. As the world community seems reticent to intervene, pray that God will intervene and will hear the cries of His people in that country.

Ask God to give wisdom and strength to the team from Operation Mobilisation who are conducting an outreach to Muslims in Surfers Paradise from July 7-21.

The Lambeth Conference of Anglican Bishops is on from July 16 to August 3.

Pray for Bishop Geoff Smith and Lyn as they participate. Pray that those who attend will be given wisdom from the scriptures and not from the world. Ask God to work for the unity of the bishops who attend and those who boycott Lambeth.

Pray for the Alpha course that started last Wednesday. Give thanks for the Alpha program and for the passion of Barry Doyle and his team. Ask God to bring all who are participating to a better knowledge of His work in Jesus.

Lord, give us a heart for outreach. Help us to be more than a Christian club. Guide us to people whom we might speak to about the good news and then give us the will to do it.

Pray for Geoff and Mike – that they might continue to grow together in their ministry amongst us and lead us with one voice.
